I'm very serious that this will be the most important thing of your life.

I praise God that His fire is consuming.

I'm going to be a missionary soon.

Which brings me to something:

A little survey, if you will.

Would you consider yourself to be a good person?

If you answer yes, or "Yeah, I'm pretty decent", please, proceed.

Do you think you have kept the Ten Commandments?

Alright, don't panic.

Have you ever lied?

What does that make you?

Have you ever stolen anything?
...[doesn't matter how small. those cookies from the cookie jar at home count!]...
What does that make you?

Have you ever committed adultery?
...[Jesus said to even look after with lust is commiting adultery in the heart....which is not good]...
What does that make you?

Have you ever taken the LORD's name in vain?
....[to express anger or disgust]....
This is called blasphemy, and God promises that He will not hold anyone blameless who takes His name in vain.
[Still feeling good?]
Have you ever murdered someone?
[oh, goodness no!]
Well, to hate someone means you're killing them in your heart.
Don't believe me?
Watch people. See how affected they are by hate.
So what does that make you?
[...mmmmmm...]
Have you always obeyed your parents, and honored and respected them?
[oh no.s]
Have you ever coveted, or jealously desired something that is not yours?
[this shows a lack of appreciation for what you have been given]
Have you put God first in your life? Or have you pursued idols- which are things that are placed above God to suit yourself, instead of His will.
...Honestly, not even most Christians can answer yes to this one...
[This makes you an Idolater]
Have you kept the Sabbath holy?
[it's God's day. Rest, acknowledge Him]

Mmm, this whole "goodness" thing is a bit more difficult.

So, imagine.
If you were to stand in front of God today- the just and holy judge- would you be innocent or guilty?
Think. You have just been judged by the Ten Commandments. How tall are you standing in Goodness?

Where will you go- Heaven or Hell?
[the answer is quite concerning]
Now let's consider for a second this argument:
"But, if God is really all-loving, then He won't send me to Hell."
Ok. Well, let's say that you have just committed a high crime in this land, and your fine is $500,000.
You simply don't have the money, so you are going to be sent to Jail.
Now, you are guilty, so you deserve your sentence.
But then the judge himself gets up and offers to pay your fine for you.
In that moment, you are free.

God did do this.
He got off of His throne, and came down to earth as Jesus Christ, to die for our sins, and carry the weight of the fine.
He offers the payment- you have to take it.
In the example above of a court, you have to option not to take the money and go to Jail.
But God has provided for you- you personally!- a route of forgiveness, so that you may have life, and have it more abundantly. He has done His part.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." -John 3:16
Now it's up to you.
"Whoever believes in Him is not condemmed, but whoever does not believe stands condemmed already because he has not believed the name of God's one and only Son." -John 3:18
Freely choose Jesus Christ, pray to God:
Confess your sins and turn from them,
And tell God that you are placing your trust in Jesus as the LORD and Savior of your life. Surrender your heart to Him.

Praise the LORD, your fine is paid!
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and this not from yourselves, it is a gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast." -Ephesians 2:8-9
